Build A Lineup Of Products That Work For Your Skin

After years of wading through makeup counters and drugstore anti aging skin care products, do you ever wish you could just throw your hands up and there would miraculously be your perfect skincare solution sitting on the shelf, waiting for you to take it home? While we’re wishing for things, how about perfect skin, or a wrinkle remover that makes your complexion glow like it did in your 20s? There’s no magic genie that can make these things happen, but the good news is that you can build your own skincare line out of various types of products to create a routine that meets your needs. And, as if by magic, it will allow your skin to glow with health and beauty!

Here’s how it works. Say you’re already using a skincare line. You like one of its moisturizers a lot, and use it regularly, but because you’re “not supposed” to mix and match products, you’ve also purchased several anti wrinkle products and anti aging skin cream from the same line that don’t give you the results you wanted; so you never use them and they collect dust.

You know you need to actually use an anti wrinkle face cream to see a reduction in wrinkle appearance, so doesn’t it make more sense to find one that you like, even if it’s in a different product line? Keep the products you like, and toss out the ones you haven’t used in years — they’re probably expired anyway. Now start the search anew for products that will work for you, and begin building your personalized line-up. (One thing to note: make sure your anti wrinkle face creams don’t have conflicting ingredients. Anti-aging retinols should not be combined with creams or lotions that contain Vitamin C, glycolic acid or benzoyl peroxide, as these ingredients will render both products ineffective.)

When choosing new anti aging skin care products, first consider your skin type. Common skin types are oily, dry and combination, but if you need assistance determining what yours is, ask your dermatologist. Then, determine what your skin needs in its anti wrinkle products, whether it be hydration, acne care, or purely a wrinkle remover solution. Armed with these two answers, you can eliminate the unnecessary products from the running and focus on only the goods that will do the best things for your complexion.

With the pool narrowed down to only a few types of anti wrinkle face creams, you can request samples or purchase small quantities of the anti aging skin cream you’d like to try, so you can see how your skin feels and reacts to each one. Once you find your perfect skin care solutions, take care to apply them daily (or as often as needed) to ensure the best results for your complexion.

Why Choose Organic Anti-Wrinkle Cream?

When you’re selecting an anti wrinkle cream from the store shelves, you pretty much have your pick of any brand available. So why would you spend the extra time tracking down anti wrinkle face creams that are natural and organic? Few, if any, of the drug store’s usual brands can claim to be organic, so you are required to go searching elsewhere for your anti wrinkle skin creams. Before you write off the search party, consider these great reasons for going organic; the journey to your perfect organic beauty product will serve your skin well.

What is in the box?
The first reason to switch to — or start using — organic products is that you’ll always know exactly what is in your product. Traditional products that can be found in the store often contain an extensive ingredient list packed with unpronounceable components whose names don’t provide the foggiest idea of what they are and what they do.

What do all those words mean?
These fancy-sounding ingredients are often chemicals or preservatives. Some of the common ones to look out for are alcohols, parabens and sulfates; these chemicals can be drying to your skin, negating what you need your anti aging cream to accomplish (that is, moisturized and smoothed skin that appears younger). In addition, by utilizing drying agents, your skin is more likely to experience irritation and damage from long-term usage.

Best to stick to ingredients that you know, such as aloe vera, jojoba oil, vitamins and antioxidants. Organic products contain few — if any — preservatives, and often will only utilize natural preservatives. While this does mean they have a shorter shelf-life than chemical-laden creams, it’s simple to keep products from spoiling by keeping the lid shut and the container away from heat and humidity.

What does natural even mean?
When searching for anti aging wrinkle cream, you should always be aware of what the box says and what it really means. Many containers will have the word “natural” on the label, but all that means is that some or all of the ingredients can be found in nature. There is no regulation process to ensure the product is fully natural, though you can get a good sense by looking at the ingredients.

On the other hand, products that are labeled “organic” must be certified as such, and will often even have labels that say what percentage of organic materials make up the product. These organic creams are also considered natural beauty products, as all of the ingredients can be found in nature and are therefore easier on the skin.

Choosing a good wrinkle reducing cream may take a little bit of searching, but ultimately ensuring your skin is healthy and happy is worth the time.

Get Younger Looking Skin Through Exercise

When it comes to aging, there’s a couple of things that every woman has in common — the desire to have younger looking skin than what she is currently working with, and the desire to make aging gracefully and beautifully a reality. Thankfully both are within her reach, through anti aging skin creams, a great skincare regimen and healthy habits. Those healthy habits — eating a well-balanced diet and maintaining a regular exercise routine — are more important to your skin’s health than you would think! Here are just a few reasons you should consider incorporating regular exercise into your life.

1) Exercise encourages blood flow to the epidermis, increasing cell regeneration and collagen production. Skin is able to bounce back from facial expressions due to the collagen in the skin, and when that production is lacking, you notice an increase in fine lines and wrinkles. When you’re out jogging, you’re literally running toward younger looking skin! Help your complexion out a little more with an anti wrinkle skin cream after your post-workout shower.

2) Exercise helps keep your weight from fluctuating too much, reducing the risk of sagging skin on your face. When your weight goes up and down frequently, over time it becomes harder for skin to bounce back to its smaller size, so it begins to sag. Maintaining a regular workout routine and a healthy diet can help balance your weight and keep it consistent. You can alternate harder workouts — such as weight lifting or running — with slower meditations like tai chi or yoga if you need help staying motivated. If you prefer to set up treats for yourself when you reach your goals, perhaps decide to treat yourself to a new organic beauty product or makeup item you’ve been coveting.

3) Facial exercises keep wrinkles and fine lines at bay. Even if you aren’t able or don’t want to get in your cardio every week, you can still strengthen your facial muscles through simple face exercises. One such exercise involves sitting in a chair with your back straight; tilt your face up to the ceiling, and make facial movements as if you’re trying to kiss the ceiling. You should feel it working in your chin, jowls and around your mouth, to prevent sagging and lines. There are several other facial exercises you can do, if you simply do a search for the term. When you finish up your exercises, apply an anti wrinkle skin cream.

t
4) And of course, using good anti aging skin creams and sunscreens prevents sun damage during exercise, especially when working out in the sunshine. If you already have wrinkled skin, you could also benefit from applying an anti wrinkle facial cream daily.

How To Choose An Anti Aging Skin Care Line

There comes a time in every woman’s life when her standard skincare regimen just doesn’t cut it any more, and she has to make the dreaded switch to anti-aging creams and serums. Suddenly instead of just some face wash and a moisturizer, you have to be concerned with anti wrinkle eye cream, a wrinkle reducer, and preventing fine lines from taking over — and that’s just on your face! But don’t let the overwhelming task of finding all new skincare products freak you out. A few simple steps can help you find and create the perfect skincare plan that will give you firm skin as you age.

Step One: Determine your skin type. If you’ve had a good skin care routine up to this point, you probably already know if your complexion qualifies as “dry,” “oily” or “combination.” But be aware that as you age, your skin type may change and require different things than it did only a few years ago. If you’re not sure what type you have, make an appointment with your dermatologist, who can determine what type of products you need for your best-ever complexion.

Step Two: Determine what your skin needs.
What is it you want to get out of a product line? Are you concerned with wrinkle removal for existing lines and creases? Is your dry skin begging for a good anti aging moisturizer? Your skin type will help determine the type of moisturizers and creams you’ll need to use to get the best anti-aging results.

Step Three: Consider natural beauty products.
Once you know what types of products will meet your skin’s needs, look for natural beauty products that will accomplish these goals. Natural products are better for your body (since they don’t contain any harmful chemicals for your skin to absorb), and also better for the environment (no chemical runoff in your water). You can find natural options for just about every skin type and need, including natural wrinkle reducer and natural anti wrinkle eye cream.

Step Four: Do your homework.
Watching TV commercials with 20-year-old actresses touting wrinkle removal cream is not enough. You’ve got to do some actual research and read reviews in order to make sure the products you are considering will actually — and effectively — perform as they should. You can look up reviews online, as well as ask the people you know about their favorite firm skin products.

Step Five: Create your regimen.
With the first four steps completed, you now know exactly what products might be a good fit for your skin and lifestyle. You can select one brand’s line of natural beauty products, or you can mix and match products from various lines to create your own perfect skincare formula.

Reduce Sagging Skin Under Your Eyes

Noticing bags under your eyes can be symptomatic of several different things — perhaps you were out way too late the night before, or perhaps you indulged in some unhealthy habits. Or, for many people, that sagging may just be a sign that you are getting older and that your skin isn’t as firm and tight as it used to be. Suddenly, how to get rid of wrinkles and bags under your eyes is a big concern.

Even if the latter is true, there’s absolutely no reason to just let your skin do whatever it wants! You can reduce sagging skin under your eyes with a few quick tricks, as well as some longer-term ones if you’d like.

Long-Term
1)    Choose a good eye cream for wrinkles. An eye wrinkle cream can be used under the eyes, on crow’s feet and on eyelids, so you can see how to get rid of wrinkles all around your eyes with just one product. An eye wrinkle cream can help firm up skin without drying it out, and can make sagging skin appear much tighter. Choose one from a reputable, natural skin care line for best results.

2)    Give Botox a try. This is considered a long-term solution, but be aware that Botox injections require regular upkeep — the effects wear off after three to six months. So if you want to maintain the look that you get from utilizing Botox injections, you’ll have to visit your doctor at least two or three times a year for as long as you want to keep the results.

3)    Change your habits. A diet loaded with sodium, caffeine and alcohol can cause your facial skin to appear puffy and bloated, which can make you look way older than you are. Try to cut back on these items and replace them with water (flavored is fine!) and fresh fruits and veggies. These hydrate your body from the inside out, so you will glow with health.

Short-Term
1)    Get a good night’s sleep. Staying up all hours of the night makes you feel tired the next day, and when your skin isn’t able to rest, it makes you look tired no matter how many espressos you down before work.  Aim to get between seven and eight hours minimum per night, and more if you’re able. Before you hit the hay, apply any anti aging skin care products you like, and gently pat an eye cream for wrinkles into the skin around your eyes.

2)    Chill out. To temporarily shrink sagging under-eye skin, you have a few options. The first is to place ice packs over your eyes for five to ten minutes, to make them look more awake. You could also do the same thing with cold cucumber slices or warm (not hot) used teabags, left over the eyes for 15 to 20 minutes.

Do Anti-Aging Products Work?

With so many different types of anti-aging products on the market, it can be difficult to determine which products will actually work for your skin and which products are all marketing hype and flashy packaging. It may take a while to find the products that are compatible with your skin, but don’t write the entire industry off just yet. A good anti aging cream can erase fine lines and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, if you know what to look for and what to do. Here are some tips for how to look younger with the help of anti aging products.

It depends what results you expect.
This doesn’t mean you need to lower your expectations about what a good anti wrinkle cream should do, but it means that you have to keep your expectations reasonable. No matter what the package claims, you’re not suddenly going to have the same complexion you had as a teenager. Instead, focus on what the cream can actually do. Anti aging wrinkle cream can help firm and tighten the skin by promoting the skin’s ability to produce collagen. As your skin ages, this production slows, but some anti-aging products can speed it back up, allowing skin to look fresh and youthful. In addition, anti-wrinkle cream keeps your skin hydrated so it appears healthy instead of thin and crepe-like.

It depends how you use them.
When utilizing a skin care regimen, it’s incredibly important to use your products consistently and correctly. An anti wrinkle cream won’t get rid of every fine line and wrinkle if you only use it once and never again! Likewise, if you use the product incorrectly, you’ll have a hard time making it work. Anti aging wrinkle cream should be used after you’ve exfoliated, cleansed and moisturized. Make an effort to apply your anti aging products every day (or the timeframe described on the packaging if it’s not for daily use) and in the proper order to see the best results.

It depends what’s in the container.
The package may emphasize the product’s hydrating qualities, but you’ll have to look at the ingredients to see if it’s true. Plenty of anti aging products are packed full of chemical ingredients like parabens and sulfates. These chemicals are not good for the skin, and can even dry it out, reducing its ability to do the very thing its labeling touts! If you want to ensure your anti-wrinkle cream won’t cause more wrinkles in the future, select your products from an organic or natural skin care line, which ensures that the only ingredients are found in nature. This means your skin will only receive the proper antioxidants, vitamins and natural acids that can be found in fruits and plants.

How to look younger is simple if you take the time to be selective about your skin care products and their application.

How To Avoid Overdoing Your Plastic Surgery

If you constantly worry that “I look old,” there are plenty of ways you can get the fountain of youth back on your side — anti aging products, effective eye creams, and diet and exercise, just to name a few. However, more and more people are choosing to skip all these anti-aging measures and go straight to the big kahuna — cosmetic surgery. Choosing to undergo plastic surgery is just fine, but have you noticed that once celebrities or your acquaintances go under the knife, it becomes really hard for them to stop? Once you’re able to experience your idea of perfection, it is really easy to go overboard and wind up with a completely unnatural-looking face or body. Here’s how you can avoid over-doing it when it comes to cosmetic surgery.

Choose one feature to work on.
What is it about your body or face that really bothers you? Not just what you wish was slightly firmer or a little tighter — if you are considering going under the knife or needle, what one thing do you wish you could change and never want back? Because you can’t undo messing with your face! Whether that one thing would be using Botox injections for the crow’s feet around your eyes or giving sagging skin a face lift, choose your one thing — and then stop. No more plastic surgery. You may love the results of your facelift or brow lift, but when you start piling surgeries on top of injections on top of procedures, your face may begin to take on a frozen, plasticky appearance that can’t be reversed.

Don’t start too early.
Your 30s are not the time to start dabbing in Botox and other injectables. One reason is that the effects tend to wear off over time, so if you want to hide fine lines and crow’s feet, you’ll have to undergo the procedure every few months to maintain the same effect. Similarly, the facelift is not a permanent procedure, and you may need maintenance cosmetic surgery to maintain the same youthful appearance over the years. These procedures aren’t cheap either; the earlier you start messing with your face, the more you’ll spend long-term on maintaining your appearance.

Don’t start at all.
If you’re unhappy with how your skin is aging, but you’re not crazy about the idea of undergoing a face lift, Botox, or any other cosmetic procedure, you can consider alternative means of preventing your skin from looking older. Some more natural means of maintaining young-looking skin include maintaining a healthy diet and exercise regimen, avoiding excessive sun exposure without proper means of protection, and using high-quality anti-aging or anti-wrinkle products. Should you choose to utilize skin creams and serums, use them consistently to plump skin, ensuring fine lines appear smaller and more filled.

Use Skin Care Products For A Facelift Effect

If you look in the mirror and think “I look old,” but don’t want to spend your hard-earned dollars on expensive plastic surgery or botox injections, you may feel like getting your youthful skin back is a hopeless mission. But you shouldn’t have to just live with the wrinkles and fine lines that age your face just because you don’t want to go under the knife. All you have to do is give yourself a facelift — no scalpel, pain or recovery required!

To give yourself a facelift without surgery, you’ll need a few things. The first is the absolute best eye cream for anti aging, anti wrinkle facial cream and any other anti aging skin care products you use. The second is good quality makeup, and perhaps a lesson from a cosmetologist on correct application for younger looking skin. (Many times you can ask for a demonstration at the makeup counters in department stores. Be sure to select a brand whose products cater to mature skin.)

You should already be cleansing and using your usual anti aging moisturizer daily to prevent the skin from aging any further; these steps should be taken in addition, to reverse the effect of wrinkles and fine lines.

Once you have your anti wrinkle products, you should determine where it is your skin needs a lift. Does the skin around your mouth seem to sag when you’re not smiling? Do your eyes look droopy? Look for specific problem areas that you would like to target; some examples would be around the eyes and brows, on the forehead and near your mouth and jaw line.

Before you complete your usual beauty routine, do a light exfoliation in your “problem area/s” with a soft washcloth, then continue to wash your face and complete your routine. Before you put on any makeup (or head to bed, depending on when you complete your routine), apply your heavier eye cream for wrinkles and anti wrinkle face cream. Allow them to absorb for a few minutes before applying any makeup or doing anything else to your skin. This will help with wrinkle reduction and will encourage firm skin.

When you do apply makeup, whether it’s a few minutes later or the next morning, keep your look natural and light; avoid using heavy, dark colors that can age you. Take the knowledge you acquired about makeup application, and use it to create the illusion of lifted skin. Apply blush high on your cheeks so skin appears firm and youthful, and use brow and eye pencils with a light, steady hand.

With a good skincare routine and correct makeup application, you can make your complexion look years younger. You’ll never have to contemplate going under the knife again.

What Causes Neck Wrinkles, And How To Avoid Them

The neck is never something you think about until it’s too late. Younger looking skin on your face is always a priority, since you don’t want people to guess how old you are. But as the years pass by, your neck starts to be the bad guy, alerting everyone to your “secret.” Because it doesn’t usually receive the same amount of care as your facial skin, it’s easy for neck wrinkles to sneak up on you. Here are a few of the causes, and what you can do to prevent your neck from looking older than your face.

Aging
Unfortunately you can’t stop the march of time, but that doesn’t mean you have to accept the hand you’re dealt! Prevent sagging skin due to loss of collagen and elastin by using your anti wrinkle face creams and anti aging skin care products on your neck every time you use them on your face. This doesn’t just go for anti aging skin creams either; your exfoliants, face masks and cleansers should all be used on your neck just as often as you would use them on your face.

Weight Changes
Many times when you lose weight, your skin’s collagen allows it to “bounce back” into shape so skin doesn’t hang loosely. However, if your weight is frequently fluctuating up and down 20 pounds, over time it becomes harder for skin to keep springing back. For firm skin on your neck, commit to making a lifestyle change. Choose healthy meal options that will fill and satiate you, and ensure your meals contain plenty of fresh fruits and green vegetables. Not only do these foods contain detoxifying antioxidants, they also often contain quantities of water to keep skin hydrated.

Sun Damage
When you use an SPF moisturizer on your face, how often do you smooth it onto your neck as well? Unfortunately, the neck is often forgotten, and therefore it absorbs unfiltered UV rays, which can cause wrinkles and age spots. These can easily be avoided; simply smooth your daily anti aging moisturizer onto your throat after slicking it onto your face, and avoid excessive sun exposure without a heavier sunblock.

Poor Posture
If you slouch in your chair all day long or sleep with your head tilted toward your chest, you may experience horizontal lines across your neck from poor posture no matter how young or old you are. Make an effort to sit up straight, stand tall with your head up when walking, and try sleeping on your back. (Bonus: this also prevents facial wrinkles from sleeping on a creased pillow.)

Smoking
Smoking dramatically increases chance of early wrinkles, including on the neck (though smoke isn’t picky, and will ravage your skin in any location). The only way to prevent damage from the chemicals and toxins in cigarettes or cigars is to quit.
